Warehouse Technician:
Due to ongoing growth and internal movements there is now an opportunity for the right candidate to take a on within the warehouse team, ensuring that the equipment is prepped, dispatched, checked in, tested and maintained ready for multiple events, an accurate asset register is maintained, and above all that the equipment and service delivered to clients is first class.
This isn`t just a warehouse role, the successful candidate will need to be confident in liaising with the Project Management team equipment specifications and advising of additions / alternatives that will help the shows run more smoothly and when applicable fully utilize any existing in house equipment based on site. You should also be confident and forward enough to speak out when you know something is wrong and could be done either more efficiently or to a better standard, also to advise on retiring redundant kit and what kit/technologies to be looking at purchasing.
If you have experience working within live events AV, have a good understanding of sound, lighting and projection, please send your full application outlining relevant experience.
Install Technicians:
Duties / Responsibilities:
- The work requirements include cutting, terminating and identifying various types of audio, video and data cables.
- The installation of cables in equipment racks, closets and cable management systems is also required.
Education / Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of communications installation techniques.
A minimum of two years of experience in cable fabrication and installation for broadcast and A/V systems is required.
A B.A. in Electronic Technologies or a related field or equivalent military training is preferred.
The candidate should take direction well and be a strong team player. Should also be able to climb ladders, lift up to 80lbs. and be able to operate the necessary hand tools and vehicles as required.
PC experience using Windows or Mac is considered necessary.
The candidate should be familiar with industry standard cable terminations, installation and fabrication techniques.
The ability to read and interpret basic schematic drawings and cable run lists is required.
